Bloom & Wild are a British company specialising in letter box fresh flower deliveries and I was recently sent one of their boxes, so I would like to share my review of the flowers with you.
Bloom & Wild employ a team of in house floral designers who create stunning bouquets in keeping with the season and time of year. The company promise that they will always source the flowers responsibly and carefully and will never send out second rate flowers. Bloom & Wild are also known as the UK’s best loved online florist with over 10,000 five star reviews on a national review site. So, let me offer a personal review for you all on the flowers I received.
One of the most important advantages of this company is that their flowers can be posted through a standard letterbox. This is great news ! How many of us have been at work or out shopping to find that a florist or delivery driver has tried, unsuccessfully to deliver a flower bouquet to our home ? Then you have to quickly re arrange re delivery before the flowers start to wilt. So I just love this company’s selling point that their flowers can be posted without the sender or the receiver becoming anxious during the delivery process.
Anyway, back to my own personal flower box. I was actually out when the box arrived but as promised they were safely delivered through my letterbox. They came in a strong, brown slim box with the company logo on the front which was simple but very elegant in its design.
Inside the box the flowers were beautifully but securely packed and I did check the contents before unwrapping and there was no damage to the box on the outside or inside, which is a credit to the packaging used and the couriers too. As you can see the instructions for caring for the bouquet were printed on the inside of the box. These instructions were simple and easy to follow for the most amateur florists among us.
On unwrapping the cellophane the flowers were all laid delicately within the wrapping with some of them individually wrapped in protective covers.
My first impression of the flowers was very positive. They looked incredibly fresh and were in excellent condition with no wilting or browning leaves or flower heads. Every flower and piece of foliage looked as though it had been freshly picked just a few hours ago and yet this box had travelled to my home and even through my letterbox. I was very impressed with what I saw.
I am a trained florist and so I have a good idea of how to arrange flowers ( although that depends whether I am in a rush or not ! ) However I write this from the point of view of a customer who has no knowledge of flower arranging and who has little time. I was therefore really pleased to see a simple, yet very informative card from Bloom & Wild giving ideas and tips on how to arrange the bouquet. What a great idea !
So my final thoughts on my flower box from Bloom & Wild ? Well I absolutely loved them ! They arrived in a sturdy well designed box which was free from any damage AND best of all they fit through my letterbox so I didn’t have to be in to receive them. The flowers themselves were fresh, luxury and stunning, which anyone would be thrilled to receive. And the big question you are all wanting to ask ? How long did they last ? Well I am happy to write that the flowers are still going strong just over two weeks since receiving them. I had to take out a couple of blooms which had started to wilt but the rest of them are still looking good !
The letterbox bouquets from Bloom & Wild start from around £22 so pop along to their lovely website for more information.
I hope you enjoyed reading this review. Have you received flowers from Bloom & Wild before? If so, what did you think ?
Until next time dear friends
*** I received these flowers as a gift but my review is my own thoughts and words and is honest.
