Fabulift Eye Lifting Serum From Ideal World – Review

There comes a time when we all look in the mirror with shock at the sudden appearance of lines and wrinkles on our previously youthful face.  It happens to us all at varying ages, but by the age of fifty we realise those ‘laughter lines’ actually don’t make us laugh anymore. How many of you have looked in the mirror and screamed ” Where did that line come from ?” Ok. I will be honest. I actually scream something far more colourful than that, but for now I will keep it ladylike !

For most women fine lines tend to start around the eye area. The eye area is comprised of thinner skin than the rest of our face so it is no surprise that these lines make the first appearance here. I have had fine lines around my eyes for many years. Although I embrace ‘my getting older’ face, there are times I wish I looked younger than I do.

So when I was contacted by the lovely people at Ideal World http://www.idealworld.tv/gb to test and review a new product designed to reduce the lines around my eyes I almost squealed with delight ! Obviously I didn’t squeal that much as that would only create more lines and that would not be helpful now, would it ?!

So there I was stalking the post man on the day the product was due to arrive, eager to try the serum for myself. I am not sure whether I scared the postman with my excitement at the package or from the unmade up face I presented him with !

So what is this product ? It is called Fabulift Fabulous Eye Advanced Formula Eye Lifting Serum and it is sold on the Ideal World Shopping channel or online.

serum targets fine lines and wrinkles

Fabulift Eye Lifting Serum From Ideal World

Ideal World claim that the Serum offers a temporary quick fix instant lifting effect as well as giving long term benefits to the skin. The Serum contains ingredients such as Argireline and Synake which soften expression lines around the eye area. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid which is supposed to help plump, smooth and diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

Well that sounded great to me and I was willing to give it a try, so I quickly opened the packaging.

The instructions for the Serum were clear and straight forward which is always a plus for me. I can be quite impatient when it comes to applying beauty products.

So, before applying you have to make sure the eye area is clean and make up and moisturiser free. Opening the 20ml tube you withdraw a tiny amount of the serum ( the size of a grain of rice ) onto the finger. Then you simply apply the serum to the areas of concern around the eyes. For my test purposes I deliberately targeted the deep line between my eyebrows. I swear I have had this deep line since I was born, as I can’t remember a time when it wasn’t there ! Between you and me, I had serious doubts that a tiny amount of serum could have ANY effect on this deep crater that stared back at me every morning.

Anyway back to the test. So I applied the serum as per the instructions and waited the stated 2-3 minutes with an expressionless face. It does state that the optimum time to wait is 15 minutes so I did aim to wait that length of time. However, me been me, I sneaked a look in the mirror after about 5 minutes and WOW …… just WOW !! My deep crater line between my eyebrows had seriously diminished ! I checked the results in another mirror, just in case the light was playing tricks on me. But no, there it was. A serious improvement on the deep line that had been with me most of my adult life.

The after photo ! Look how the deep line has diminished ! Amazing !

And that’s all there is to it ! It really was that easy. Once the product is dry then you can apply an oil free or powder foundation make up over this area, so it is great to use before a night out or a special event. The serum is, of course a temporary effect so it can easily be removed with a normal cleanser at the end of the day.

I will be honest I was a little sceptical about the serum. But I am always ready to try new products for myself to see if the claims are true. And yes, I am happy with my face but of course I much prefer to look younger. Don’t we all ? For me, the happier I feel with my appearance then the more confident I feel about myself overall. Looking good can boost our self esteem and for us ‘older ‘ ladies this is crucial. As we know the menopause can bring with it low feelings and mood.

This little tube of magic is priced at £29.99 from Ideal World . Although it is a small tube at 20ml this really will last you a long time as you only need a tiny amount per application.  There is roughly 150 applications in each tube so it is great value for money. At the time of writing there is a special code Fabulift25 that you can use for this serum where you can get 25% off ! Go Go Go ladies !

I hope you enjoyed this little review of the Fabulift. Please let me know in the comments your thoughts and if you have ever used this product. I would love to hear your views.

Until next time dear friends

Much love

Susanna xx

That looks amazing! I wonder if it works on the lines from the noise to the mouth also. That would be fantastic!

Hi Nancy ! It seems to work on any lines to be honest. I was honestly amazed at how it worked. I am always a little sceptical about products that make these large claims. But this serum really works. It is only temporary but thats enough for me ! It will be one I keep in my make up drawer from now on as these lines and wrinkles are only going to get worse ! ;( xx

I have bought all the products from ideal world and it doesn’t work. I followed the instructions to the letter. As soon as you smile or laugh the ones round your eyes crakes. I was lead to believe that make up could be worn, that’s what peter Simon said. But you can’t. It makes a real mess on your face if you do. The deep line filler just makes your face feel stiff and dry and doesn’t work. I feel it’s mid leading and a total waste of money. I would return my straight away. I took it all out of the boxes to save room when I went away. I would however still like to return the stuff. As I feel I’m paying for nothing. I’m totally fed up with being Miss informed by ideal world. You shouldn’t say things unless they are true. And I was definitely lead to believe make up could be worn. I won’t use ideal world again

Sorry the serum didn’t work for you Penny. I guess things don’t work for everyone. I found it worked great for me. I know that if you use too much then it can make it crack and it doesn’t work so good. Did you use just a tiny amount ? I would try contact Ideal World and explain what has happened. Their customer service is good and I think they will listen to you. Thanks for reading my post. Susanna x

I was very disappointed with this eye product. I only used a small amount as indicated and it didn’t have the slightest effect and to make matters worse people asked me why I had white patches under my eyes. A rubbish product.

Hi! I am sorry you didnt like the product. I did get white patches under my eye at the first time of using but I think I had put too much on to be honest. I tried again using only a tiny amount and found the results much better. I wonder if it doesnt suit everyone? Thanks for commenting and visiting my site xx
